This webinar, in collaboration with the Sattva Knowledge Institute, aims to explore the roles of ‘Samaaj, Sarkar, and Baazar‘ in addressing the challenge of increasing girls’ participation in STEM education and encouraging them to pursue STEM careers.
We seek to find answers to the following questions:
- What are the ways in which civil society can back STEM initiatives and aid the government’s scaling efforts? Simultaneously, how can the government or ‘sarkaar’ and ‘bazaar’ or industry step up to assist the civil society, ‘samaaj’ in addressing the gender gap in STEM Education?
- What role can the industry play in supporting government interventions, and ensure success for women in STEM courses?
- How can the civil society facilitate the transition of girls from school to the professional sphere, and how can the market forces be equipped to provide a gender-sensitive work environment and absorb skilled women professionals?
